What can I say? Words just don’t do Brigitte’s place (Mas de L’Olivier) justice. It’s the perfect base to stay in Luberon and to explore the surrounding area. The pictures don’t do the home justice and it’s even better in person. The surroundings are nothing short of magical, and you will be immersed in nature – steps away from organic fields of lavender and wheat. The home has everything you will need – including an incredible and beautiful pool with a perfect view. Brigitte was friendly and exceptionally knowledgable of the area with no shortage of fantastic recommendations. With our rental car, we were easily able to explore the area – including a surprise lavender festival in the town of Ferrassières (on 6th July). The home is spotless, stylish, quiet, and quintessential for the area. I can’t recommend Brigitte’s place highly enough and we will be back many times!

We’ve had a wonderful time here – a very cozy place to stay, we will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay here. She was very accommodating, it was a last minute booking. She gave excellent directions and we arrived after dark so she was waiting for us with a light because it is a more remote area. We only stayed two nights but if time had allowed we would have loved to stay longer. She gave excellent recommendations for where to eat and places to go. The place was fully equipped with everything you could need. To get to the upstairs bedrooms there are some steep steps, but it is only around 8-10 steps. The upstairs bathroom has a giant shower, the one downstairs is a good size as well. The grounds are very pretty. We had a private area that is perfect for a few drinks and enjoying the view. It is a pretty central location with 15-30 minute drives to Roussilon, Gordes, and Menerbes. We weren’t there for lavender season but I imagine that it is amazing at that time of year. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The pool is incredible. We didn’t read the listing properly and thought the pool was for our place only but it is shared with the other 2 gites. The pool is incredible and we had it to ourselves each afternoon/evening. Brigitte was a wonderful host and we could charge our electric car there as well. Lots of lovely places to explore nearby.

I can highly recommend this place. We stayed here for 4 nights as a family with 3 young children, the place was perfect, amazing surroundings, and Brigitte was great with a lot of local recommendations, which was appreciated.

Beautifully designed space in an idyllic setting. Very close to excellent restaurants and a large supermarket. Beautiful pool shared with only two other homes with great view of the hillsides.

If you’re looking to visit the Provence area, this is the perfect place to stay! We cannot say enough fabulous words about how wonderful our stay here was. It’s even more beautiful in person. The patio upon arrival has twinkle lights and is so cozy to enjoy a bottle of wine at night and coffee in the morning. Walking around the property is lovely, the pool mountainous backdrop is stunning! Inside, the kitchen is gorgeous with various beautiful dishes and everything needed. The dining area and living room are cozy and spacious. And the beds are all very comfortable! Brigitte was quick to respond, so helpful, and gave us the best local recommendations for restaurants and markets. The location was perfect – close to the best lavender fields in Valensole , which is also halfway to the absolutely can’t miss Verdon Gorge. We loved the place so much I would like to come back one day with our son and stay for an extended period! Don’t hesitate for book, this is the best!
